About PSDNetwork

PSDNetwork, LLC is committed to being the first place women founders and executives turn to for leadership and business decisions.  Currently in beta stage, PSDNetwork  is organized around the way women experience high growth start-ups.  The women’s experience is unique to their male counterparts. While every start-up has the same milestones, from ideation to exit, the way in which a female founder leads her business and manages her career requires unique tools, access, and support. Directly addressing the reasons women opt-out and opt-in to high growth industries, PSDNetwork  is on track to enable women to change the world on their own terms.

I have spent my adult life working in the technology industry, and half of my adult life studying and advocating for equal access to power positions in high growth industries for incredible women everywhere.  Innovation motivates me and transformation fuels me.  We all have the ability to transform the world around us in meaningful and innovative ways.

I do not believe women need to be mentored or empowered.  I believe women are already capable and hold the power within themselves. What women can benefit from is access:  Access to advocates, funding, expertise, relatable stories, and practical resources.  I want to play a part in giving you the access YOU need.  Right here.  Right now.

What can I do for you?  I am a scholar-practitioner, experienced high-tech executive and advocate for meaningful innovation.  I am passionate about leveling the imbalanced technology playing field to include all the best innovators.  In addition to serving on the Astia Board of Trustees, the Corporate Board Committee in The Boston Club, Advisory Board of ASTIA NYC, I am on the Entrepreneurship Chair’s Advisory Board at Simmons College and a 2012 Entrepreneur in Residence at Simmons College School of Management, and a columnist of Level Playing Field for Inc. Magazine online.

What does this mean to you?  In one word:  Access.  I work alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the most innovative of high growth entrepreneurs, and the greatest leaders in the corporate world of technology.

I feel incredibly fortunate that I am able to lend my research, time, and voice to enable women to change the world through high growth entrepreneurship and board service.  I know first-hand how fragmented information is whether you are trying to navigate the entrepreneurial lifecycle or entrepreneuring your career right to the boardroom or wherever your desired career goals will take you. My goal is to give you access you need in a way that is intuitive, enjoyable, fast, and, most of all, actionable.

“We created PSDN for two reasons. First, it’s vital to US and global economies that women led start-ups receive the same access to funding and networks as their male counterparts. Second, when I follow my heart it leads me directly to the stories surrounding intelligent, ambitious, creative women. Some of these women followed traditional career paths of undergrad, graduate school, entry level jobs and have been climbing ever since.  Others followed a different path and chose to raise children and delay their careers. I fall into this second category of women and have a special affinity for their stories. PSDNetwork is where I tell their stories and connect them with the people and networks that can inspire and propel them to their next big thing.”
